I bought my 2016 Subaru WRX STI 3 months ago and I am getting used to it.
Last week, I realized that the noise while releasing the throttle pedal is different than it was before. It is not a typical "whoosh" of BOV (GFB TMS Respons installed, set to full atmo). It is more like a whine from the turbo area. (It can be heard clearly in 0:06 or 0;27 in the video)

Should I be worried?

Try turning your music off, then we might be able to hear it. At the moment it`s the tunes that I would be worried about.

 

You are definitely right. I will prepare a video with radio switched off
