Hi there I've just brought a 3inch catback japspeed exhaust for my forester turbo.

How do I connect the 3inch exhaust to the standard 2.5inch cat?

The oem cat is 2.5inch with the crush gasket and the 3inch is the flat flange..

How do I connect them together?

 

Cut extend and weld.

 

Is there no way of just bolting it together I don't want to cut and weld it as I want to fit a downpipe and Decat eventually.

 

You'd be as well get the downpipe now then it's a straight fit.

 

How about one of these, it retains the conical gasket??

Another alternative but I don't know if anyone sells them in the UK.

 

Tarmac sportz in the uk do alot of grimmspeed stuff .

 

Yer cheers I found a mishimoto adapter... Same as the grimspeed one.
