Denso 565cc injectors or O rings?
Hi all
so did some jobs and noticed one of my injectors seems to smell a bit.. I think an O ring has packed in or weeping.
So I can of course replace all 4 O rings for 35-40 quid..
but for that price I might just spend a little more and get some new injectors all together.
I saw these injectors for sale on eBay.. Denso 565cc set of 4...
Denso 565cc injectors
They say genuine but gotta be honest they seem very wuhan spec lol!
now currently I have my bugeye wrx wagon running on 550cc STI injectors... these are gonna change my tune a little so I have to consider that.
i've seen some 550cc injectors on eBay but they seem "cheap" if I'm honest as in the build quality.. altho they are cheap too Lol!
any recommendations chaps?

Those are most likely fake injectors. Might work fine, but might also not be linear in fuel delivery, variable from day to day and temperature, have variable dead times etc.
MAY work ok if you also have the car mapped, but I'd personally steer clear, and that's from someone who would be happy to run decapped standard injectors.
A couple of o-rings shouldn't set you back 40 quid, however. They're most likely a standard size Viton o-ring?

Thanks guys yeah I did wonder if they might be reconditioned versus new. I think the best option is as you said.. get my current ones cleaned and new O rings. For the sake of a day off the road it's cool 👍🏽☺
