Default Headgasket

So the time has finally arrived and my headgasket has officially gone!

Impreza Hawkeye 07 WRX

I will be starting next week removing the engine then stripping her down to see what the damage is.

Now whilst the engine is out what are everyones recommendations? I am planning on replacing the clutch and flywheel while its out changing all gaskets and possibly forging while im at it? But to be honest im already running 285bhp and am not looking for anything higher than 350 on this engine.

What are peoples recommendations on thickness of the headgasket? thicker be better or thin like OEM? Im currently looking at the cosworth headgasket kit but cant decide on the thickness! Also any recommendations on people to skim the head (and potentially flywheel) who wont tell me it will take 3 months?

Thanks!
