I have a decision to make on whether to take out an extended warranty on my MY99 Impressa Turbo in July. Trouble is it has only 10500 miles on the clock and the 3 year service is expensive as the cambelt gets changed, even though it is not really needed with such low mileage.

Question is, should I forget the extended warranty and service the car as appropriate to the ware rather than the 6 monthly schedules?

This issue must have arisen before.

Is it best to sick with the schedule regardless of mileage?

Stick with the schedule regardless.

The warranty will only be of any use as long as the car is not modified in ANY way.
