Got my blitz zorst today and the part which joins to the downpipe looks like its had an extension welded onto it, but i was told that you need a joining piece to fit on to a Dpipe, has anyone else got his how their MY01 WRX.

Has anyone else used a connector or does yours bolt on and rumble!!

Hi Paul!

You need a piece between the centre pipe and the downpipe, as the cats on UK cars are shorter than the cat on a Jap car, and as the Blitz is a Jap exhaust they don't fit without one!

Call me tomorrow mate and I'll sort one out for you!

Anyway I thought you had another type of system on already? LOL

This is making interesting reading, I have just ordered the Blitz NUR spec exhaust as part of the group buy. Will this just bolt on to my my97 Catalunya ?

 

No it only effects the WRX MY01+ cars.

I guess you mean yes it will bolt on just fine the adapter only applys to new cars.

The exhaust for the classic shape, will bolt on the classic shape without any problems.
