Default Valvoline VR1 10w60 oil

Hi guys, has anyone ever used this? I cant get in touch with valvoline technical (im an oil reseller)

2006 WRX running 333bhp snd 350ft/lb on a 2.5l

Would this be ok or am i better off with a good 5w30?

Its a weekend car that wont get hammered but will be driven quickly

Thanks in advance

personally your better with a 5w40 for a "reasonably" used car or 10w50 for a harder use car............

wouldn't use 5w30 in the UK

Default lost

Scooby clinic recommend their synionic 10w50
Roger Clark recommend either a 15w50 Fuchs or a 10w60 Castrol

I sell oil for a living but we dont deal with "tuned" cars im unsure who to trust!

Trust Alyn (stock car) he knows what he’s talking about, I’m going to be using him for all the parts I need for my car once I find the time hopefully around summertime!

General consensus is that a 60 grade is for forged/track work. 10w40 or 10w50 is fine
