Default Oil leaking from under the car

Hi folks

I was changing the oil filter on my legacy the other day, and whilst under the car noticed, oil leaking from a small rubber projection. I wiped the oil off before taking a photo - see attached. If anyone can tell me what it is and how I can stop the leak, it would be much appreciated.

The small "rubber projection" is the locator tab for the steering rack mounting bush.
Looking at the picture I'd be concerned with the amount of oil that seems to be on the rest of the rack to the left of the mount

Are you loosing power steering fluid?
Looks like you may have a loose connection or worse.

What is the colour of the oil? Pic doesn't show it well but it looks black like old engine oil.

PAS fluid is red unless it's burnt...reservoir will tell you the colour/state of your pas fluid. If it's same as what's leaking then it's likely the rack itself (from either the gaitors (failed seal), pinion shaft (seal)), or one of the hoses to it which has likely rusted.
