Default Does this timing belt look like it needs renewing to you?

Hi,
Its been a while since i've owned a Subaru, but picked up an N/A Impreza 2.0 RX hatch last night.

Surprisingly I find myself not bothered about the lack of the turbo....obviously im getting old.

Anyway - Its a 2010 car, on 83k miles, and although has lots of service stamps, has no history of a Cam-belt change. So before booking it in and spending my hard earned money, I popped the cover off (well, the easy half) this morning expecting to find the belt looking like it would snap any second, but instead it looks like this (three pics linked below).

Any opinions, should I book it in? https://ibb.co/pwkWdjL

Thanks to anyone in advance who responds

Tom

What does it say in the service booklet??

Subaru's Workshop Manual Maintenance Schedule (which can differ to Subaru UK Service booklet) states 100K miles.

Equivalent WRXSTI is 66K miles

You can never tell bud. I'd have it changed if no proof. Belt and pulleys, I had my water pump done aswell, although mechanical old one looked in good nick so maybe just belt and pulleys.

Thanks to you both.

The service book says change at 66k mikes, funnily enough it was actually serviced by Subaru at 66k, it I called them and whilst they could verify it was serviced at that time, they couldn't pull up the invoice to confirm what was it on. ...

I changed mine at 120k miles , yet it looked healthy enough.... but, by taking the belt off, I was able to spin the idlers, which proved to be noisy, so I changed them (but not the tensioner, as that wasn't noisy*)... the point is, if you take the belt off you can test the idlers.
*nor the water pump, as they're supposedly bullet proof.
To answer your question: looks fine to me.
