2 pot back plates on a classic
Bought some 2pot rear mounting brackets but don't feel happy with them, thought i might get correct back plates with mounting holes, are these just newage back plates?

no late classic Type-R are the backing plates to suit the R180 rear hubs, etc and therefore are 2pot mounting BUT 190mm handbrake assembly....
new-age WRX plates are are 2pot mounting with 170mm handbrake assembly....
depends on how good the brackets are but its generally easier as you don't have to split / replace rear wheel bearings
we do solid billet alloy adaptors

I recently changed the whole hub on mine, as I had a bearing that was gone anyway. I do have all the tools do the bearing, but I was putting the job off so long, that it was easier to get a complete one, used,
Something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325465988...Bk9SR4rOvZvwYQ
Nice to get rid off the 2 pot brackets.
