When I give my Levorg some 'welly' I sometimes get large plumes of black smoke. Further investigations show that the FA20E DIT engines have carbon build up that require the inlet to be cleaned according to the Service Bulletin 9-74-21

This video shows a Subaru Maintenance kit with the following items required, SOA868V9431, SOA868V9430, SOA868v9166. Is there anything in the UK similar to this available?

Read it and watched the guy performing it. I did consider those cleaners but figured that with the history of subaru engines being delicate, I'd rather buy what the manufacturer recommends. Also, I quite liked the concept of doing it as per the video with the tube & liquid.

Fit water injection job done.
No more carbon deposits.
