where to install 12" subwoofer?
Is there a convenient place to install 12" subwoofer? Like, in my old 2001 Camry there were two 6x9" speakers and they filled out the bass really well. With my 2011 Impreza(sedan), the 6.5" speakers I installed do well, but it's lacking a punch. So, I want to install a 12" subwoofer. But I have no idea where? Since there is no readily accesible 'drop in' compartment? Or is there? I assume I'd have to take space in the trunk, but I don't want to do that because it doesn't go directly into the cabin.
My setup would ideally be, the front two speakers on one amp, the rear door speakers directly attached to the head unit, and a subwoofer attached to a seperate amp.

There were two Subaru options touted for the the 2011-14 saloons
US option
10" kicker Sub woofer at the side of the boot - see attached pdf H630SFG400
UK option
Pioneer TS-WX77A at the back of the seat

Do not expect much from 200W subs. where for example my focal k2 door speakers are 100W rms each.
I have alpine swr 10d2 in a box, sitting where spare wheel seats and think I should go with 12" instead to receive more punch.
Claimed 1000W rms by Alpine in time of purchase, reality is it's 750W rms.
I have 2 amps ,1 for speakers and 1 for sub.

Hmm...I was hoping for a placement where the red arrow is pointing.

Some MY15 WRXSTI onwards (with Navigation system) have power amplifier and woofer mounted in an "under parcel shelf" location.........
