Fitting the new Prodrive 18" wheels with 225-35-18 S-03 I found that:
1. The distanse of the rear wheels to the arches are different left from right. Left side is less than the right one, about 2cm.
Car is 98MY without hits at all. What could cause that dif, or is it normal to all Imprezas.

2. Left side catches the arch easier than the right one.Suspension is the Prodrive which lower the car a bit at the rear.

Your help is welcome on what to do now.

Silly question, but are you very sure the ground your car is sitting on is perfectly level?

Most driveways are inclined slightly either way for drainage. Since the front springs have higher rates, the car will sit (more) level at the front. This leaves the rear springs to compensate for the ground's incline. Try several different parking spots and get an average.

Did all that and the last time was meassured at the service area. Ground was almost flat and the dif was almost the same.
On others was less than 4-5mm. Just a thought before I go for checking is that maybe there is a transposition of the rear subframe. It does sound a bit silly but what else can cause such a difference.

Any suggestions about the rear rubbing problem would help me a lot.
