From what I understand 'some' dealers may not know about this part number...I will go and find it for you now, but persivere cos its FIVE times cheaper than what they would like to sell you.
Give me 10 mins and Ill be back.
ps. I bet its the same p/n that Wrexy gave you!

they said "why you bothered its still under warranty?"
did not tell them the mods!!

When you next ring round dont tell them that its for your car, then you dont need to get involved with the questions.
If they are main dealer they should have networked database for all IM parts.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Sorry mate, my dealer is in Maidstone Kent.
If you get REALLY stuck I am sure you could order it for postal dispatch from them, they ordered mine without a deposit and it arrived (at the dealers) within two days.
If you paid for yours over the 'phone there is no reason why they shouldnt do it.

Moles Dad,
Very hot. It's 35 degrees Celsius and full sun outside right now and it will get hotter as the day progresses. Good for holidays but bad for the scoob and copping it everyday. Sometimes you wish a cool change would come along, to relieve you, but it doesn't come. It gets a bit too much.
P20SPD,
I never took it in a bad way m8. I knew what you meant. No need to apologise.
Cheers,
Wrexy.

just a thought, why dont you ring kt green for the part, dont mention this discussion to them, and see if you can get it. say your fitting it for a m8 or something.
if you can get it i'll sort you out with the cash, ie downpipe etc.
from moles dad's previous thread i think it should be about £70
cheers steven

He is a 6yr old border collie, he is very very intelligent and is very very protective of the house and garden.
When he hears 'kids' outside he 'begs' to go in the garage,(connected to house), so that he can lay up the door whining to get out and burst their football!!!
When someone calls at the door he almost goes through the glass door, I try to keep the longe door closed in the morning so that the post lady can have a little peace...today she was late.
0-28mph in 0.4 sec, now thats quick!

got a 2 year old black lab called guinness (named after a certain drink as he has a white bit under his paw)
hes a bit like this with footballs, found him 3 houses down the road the other day, hed cleared the fences to nick the footballs from the kids in the garden, 3 in total, all sat outside house door, he was trying to get the 4th. poor kid
he wags people to death though with his tail. he can probably accelerate pretty much the same, and has damn good brakes!!

There's a drinking night over in Leeds soon... I can't think I assume you may be a drinker!
KT Green are famed for dissing on-line sources of information. They fitted a ramair filter to my MY00, despite prodrive stopping supplying them for MY99/00s. I asked them about this and was told "websites don't know what they're talking about".
This from a company that charged me for 11 sump washers...
Sorry, I've gone off on one haven't I?

Re. Upgrading brakes on a Labrador;
Mine always used to throw himself sideways at a wall or wooden door to stop himself when going mad in the house. The vets bill was horrendous when we replaced the wooden back door with a glass one...new glass was expensive too
