I'm putting in a boost gauge on the steering column and need a power that is connected to the dimmer, what's the easiest place to splice into?
Thanks

Can i get to it through the ashtray hole or can you just get the lighter out by it'self?

Depends where u mount the gauge - if the A-pillar then the wires at the back of the fog light switch are close by and relatively easy to get to.

Edited to say - whoops, i replied without reading the full details of your post, still the fog light illumination wires are convenient, not sure if they are on the dimmer tho.
