Which wire do I connect AFR too?
#1
I've got a 1994 UK 5 door turbo fitted with a Dawes device. The fuel cuts off at 1.05 bar so I need to fit a cut off raiser which I have. The only problem is I need to monitor the fuel/air mixture to ensure I don't run too lean.
I've looked on the web & all of the advice I find is for newer or import models with a different ECU to mine so I'm clueless as to which of the miriad of wires to connect to. (I have six white wires with silver flecks).
Can I connect directly to the exhaust gas sensor just past the turbo if so, which wires? I have three from the sensor, red, black & white.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

Connect at the ECU end.
Looking at the ECU in the car the wire you want is B43 pin 6. It's the 4th wire from bottom, as 2 positions are unused.
And is coloured White with Silver stripes.

Thanks again Scott. I'd rather connect to the ECU end because it's easier to get at. The only problem, which may be irrelevant anyway, is that I also have to extend the wires on the meter to reach. Will this extra length of wire affect the signal to any consirable degree?
