Cool

Thanks to Bob Rawle, Jonny Gav & especially Scott T I've fitted the Dawes device, AFR guuage & fuel cut out raiser to my 94 UK wagon.
It's currently running a safe 1.1 bar & I'll tweak it up a smidge more each day til I reach 1.3 bar.
Has anyone else fitted this set up & do you know what power increase it gives?
The car has also got K&N & Scoobysport mid section & rear box.
It feels considerably quicker (bearing in mind it was running 0.7 bar) but it could just be me willing it to be faster.

I got it from JW Racing. Speak to Jamie, he know his onions & is very helpful. 01642 894637 or search their new website. I think it cost about £70 & was a doddle to fit. Now getting 1.25 bar & still on the rich (safe) side.

Question

Hi,

i am interested on what basis you are running the car at 1.3bar. is this really safe???

the reason i ask is i have a 94WRX and have just fitted the Fuel cut lifter and dawes device but i have been led to beleive that 1.2 bar is really the safest pressure to run at.

are you more likely to run into other problems at this high boost, like problems with the spark, head gasket and detonation?

Peggy
