Question

First time I’ve used my new pressure washer even though I bought it 3 months ago!

Using the under body lance in and around the wheel arches and I have cleaned back to paint where it was black before. Have I managed to take off the underseal?

If so I’m inclined to get a can of spray on underseal and re-do it myself, or would it be worth while getting a dealership to do an under body service??

Advice please

Cheers

Chris

I tend to touch up myself!! Ooo-err!!

What i meant was i would just re-underseal the affected areas myself. Doesn't take long to do and will be cheaper than asking a dealer.

Have used a pressure washer for years with no ill effects.

Maybe, don't go too close with the lance?

I think your right, I'll probably take the wheels off to get in there properly with the pressure washer and then spray on new underseal myself, another little project to do!

Also stay away from the bonnet scoop as the high pressure water can bend all the intercooler fans.. same with radiator in from grill...

Just been quoted over £100 for a body service (5yr). Not too bad so maybe worth thinking about??
