Surrey!
I had been nipping a long at 150-160MPH going to Le Manns
When a friend fliped his bike as we came out round about.
I stopped helped him out the road draged the bike out the way etc but did not let the engine cool.
It blows a shead load of somke out the back, I know it is oil as it coated my trailer a few days a go.
Every now and then it puffs out a huge cloud of white smoke.
I have extra gauge's in the car and I have my oil pressure has droped to 2 bar, a few times. Then the next day it is fine.
I don't use the car that offten but when I do I keep the revs below 3000, and allway let it idle.
It is a UK car V reg 23,500 miles

The moral of this story is get a turbo timer fitted, and its not good to stay at high speeds in a scoob for too long, supposedly it blows engines due to lack of airflow over the intercooler (instead of going into the scoop, the airflow becomes turbulant and goes over instead causing high temps in your engine).

I have a turbo timer on my alarm, but due to the crash I did not use it.
I was not sitting at 150 - 160 I just wanted to see what she could do.
The thing is if it is the turbo fine I can take it of get a new job done, but I need to make sure it is not the engine and the turbo is fine, is there anyone who can look at it for me?
I have the phone number of a chap called Steve Lawson, but I can not get hold of him for love or money.
I don't want to use the car as it could do more damage

The jury's still out on this one. There are a few theories doing the rounds but this has been proven wrong.

Velcro,
Steve L is not doing so much on Scoobs these days.
Lots of smoke - sounds like turbo oil seals - but could be worse - especially if you are losing oil pressure - you need to get you car looked at properly. Possibly could be a holed piston....
