i havent a clue,probably a grand or so!!
try talking to a rally car specialist, d.o.m.e. motorsport engineering in bromsgrove may be able to help,http://www.domemsport.co.uk/index.html
but be warned dont expect to get many miles per gallon either as it uses a fifth injector mounted onto your turbo(i think, dont quote me on this)and squirts petrol onto the turbine in the turbo making it spin all the while, the petrol vapor cant be exhausted fast enough therfore egnights by the turbo and the vaporor flame goes down the exhaust pipe making a nice flame, loud bang, pop, whezing noise and glowing exhaust pipe
as i say dont quote me on this its what ive been told by a rally car mechanic i know....roy

yeah its a forge VTA - i've hit the limiter in many gears repeatedily all i get are LOUD bangs (almost explosions sounding) but no flames
maybe i will have to got down the induction kit route, certainly cheaper than a mo-tec and a new turbo every other month...

hksubaru - supposidly all you need extra is a VTA Dump Valve (i have a forge) - although i still haven't had any flame outs - but the VTA in all fairness is the dogs

Snowcrash, try this one....driving along in 4th gear at about 50 or 60 mph, then quickly hit the clutch and give the accelerator a 'stab' as you drop down to 3rd....should be a pop and a flame
Practice it, it should flame on demand as you are sending excess fuel into the zorst!
Good luck

to get flameouts you need the car to be running very rich it may be you are running lean so go to a specialish and see how the mixture is
i dont know if i am talking rubbish but if you have an induction kit fitted you get more air going into the engine thus a leaner mixture
i have fitted
tec2.5
decat
k&n induction with cold air kit going into the inner wing
forge dump valve
and i do get flames allthough not all the time
but if you really want flames get a flamer kit have to say i have seen one and it really dose work very well

i can get it to pop all the time on command (around 3000rpm - tapping the accelerator).
I know someone else with a tek2.5 and that backfires... the induction kit is a different matter, techincally i thought that they make the car run lean...? so why do they make em backfire? - is it cause it's running lean, therefore dumps the rest of the fuel out of the back???

Grrrr, u lot are a bad influence! I just tried the bounce off rev-limiter thing on the way from work 'a few times' as it wasn't popping (Full decat/Bailey VTA/K+N panel filter) and I burst a bl00dy hose! It's the one from the header tank to the turbo
Maybe I didn't get the exhauast hot enough, I only gave it 10 mins to warm up before I tried it
Oh well off to dealer tomorrow unless anyone knows where you can get these cheaper? I think it will last a while as it only a pin-***** hole, I'll just have to take it easy from now on
Damn you all
