Have just replaced the o-rings on the resevoir and bought a new cap too. Refilled the resevoir with dexron II and went for a blast. Come back and fluid is pissing out over the top of the resevoir!!! aaaarrrggghhhh!!!

Now... Is this fluid overheating or an air leak somewhere???

I just did the same repair on mine last night... same happend...

Did you take the power steering pot off and also the bracket that the power steering pot screws to.... i took mine off so you could see the whole pump and there was no rubber o ring under it, there is a cut out like a ring on the pump it self for an O ring to sit into....

I fixed this but it is looking like the power steering fluid is actually leaking from the pot its self as it is in 2 parts and just cliped together a bit like the crappy header tanks, so i think i may need a new reservoir...

when replacing fluid it needs 2 of you,one to turn the wheel side to side and the other pouring,if you dont you will get air locked and it will boil over
