Question

Just bought P1 and have noticed that when in high gear (4th or 5th) and I floor it at 3-4000rpm the engine immediately surges to about 5000rpm then drops back to about 4400/4500 rpm before revving on as normal.

Is this normal?? Car is std (as far as i'm aware) apart from SS back box.

Thanks Tony. A quick trip to the dealer required!! Do you think this would this be included under warranty?
