Question

Never experience this before, but the refill holes at the top of my battery are leaking and bubbling slowly once the car is used.

Q. Is this a knackered battery or an overcharging alternator.

It hasnt spilled onto bodywork, but clearly something is on the goose!

Any help mucho appreciated!

Usually indicates a cell gone and a new battery is required. Eggy smell?

mines been doing this for last 3 years, think water is running through vent at night when battery is cool thus putting battery acid to full , then when battery gets hot and expands ,it overflows but only a few drips out of each cell , the battery is the type with flush caps so possible rain water runs down between threads
