Power steering pump pulley buckled?
#1
The pulley that turns the power steering pump appears to be buckled. It's the top left one when looking at the engine from the front of the car, if you look at it side on it definitely looks like it's moving in and out slightly while spinning!
I assume this isn't normal, but how the hell would it get like that? There is a slight squeak from the belt while spinning which dissappears for a while if I put water or belt lubricant on it, so it's definitely the belt not the pulley squeaking. I intend to have the belts replaced when the timing belt is being changed (very soon) but should I get this pulley replaced as well since it might wear out the new drive belt quicker?
It's got me baffled anyway!

If the pulley is wobbling, then i would say its bent. If it was the bearings, then it would simply run at an angle. The bearing in mine went ages ago... such a noise.
Didnt bother replacing the bearing, I just got another pump.
