ok, i know i`m opening myself to sarcasm and ridicule but i`m happy(ish). I have a 2.0sport on a 99 plate and i want to get MORE (u know what i mean) from my scooby, what can i do? (£10 in the post to the 1st person to say `sell it`) lol.
I`m in the process of purchasing OZ Superlegerras at 18" and i`m soon to purchase a Scoobysport centre and backbox.
Hit me with your ideas then...i`m waiting....

Sell it...
Get those brakes fixed! (I have some 2 pot calipers for sale..., IIRC the Sport has one pot brakes ) Go for at least 4 pots if you can afford to tho.
Colour code the black bits if it's not already done.
Think there are one or two ECU possibilities (but not sure what)...

Your going the right way by fitting an exhaust, this is where you want to start performance wise.. i would however normally start off with an air filter (induction kit) as well as the exh...
Get a 2.2 stroker kit and nitrous bit limited on the non aspirated front...

Brakes should be a straight fit - plenty of descriptions on here for fitting - would wait until the new wheels are on tho. As for the cost, I paid quite a lot less for mine, but they have probably done a few more miles than those.
4 pot brakes seem to be the "in mod" this month, so the prices are quite high. Seems to be the going rate.

Fit an FSE Power Boost Valve - worked for my Sport when I had it- stopped that juddering at low speeds, pick up improved dramatically and even fuel consumption improved.
Try also ITG panel filter which directly replaces the standard one.
Eibach Springs worked well for me too.
Needless to say after 18months of ownership I changed to Turbo.

smashin guys!! i`m definately goin for the 4 pots when the wheels arrive nxt week hopefully and i`m gonna go with the Eibachsprings as they have been mentioned frequently. Do the springs go straight on the standard damps?...The panel filter also sounds reasonable...thanx again chaps.

i was gonna mod my sport before i sold it.
The scoobysport straight through exhuast makes quite a differnce. Without the turbo-lag it gives you enough power to stay with a standard turbo...

Eibachs will fit over standard dampers and lower 20mm+ - handling improves 100%
Darkblue - I think you must be forgetting the performance differences between a Sport & Turbo - presume you must meen keeping up in a 30mph zone or on a very windy road where driver ability comes into play rather than performance.

I would have a look here. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SubaruSportsters/
Loads of fellow Sport owners. Loads of info about what people have done / are doing to there cars.
Breathing is where to start as you already have an exhaust sorted then look at the other end, some sort of induction / panel filter upgrade. Brakes also a good idea. Strut brace on the front maybe.

i cant thank you guys enuff!!...the reason i bought the sport was because i couldnt really stretch my finances to maintain a turbo but amongst you all i have spent my next 4 months wages so thank you!...lmao..but seriously, thanx and very much appreciated. ;-) the exhaust will be on order as soon as the EGG card arrives and the Eibachs are a must as i`ve seen sum 18" and there is quite a gap under the arch. Will the induction kit affect management system do you know?

Will, I've got a FSE boost valve if you want its in its box never used, I've got a K&N induction kit aswell. Originally brought for my Calibra but never got round to fitting, dont know if either can be fitted to your car though??????
