Any comments on the above ? I'd never put any in my Scooby, however the garage the services the other half's VW, uses it. I feel it's a litle pointless as we always provide fully synthetic oil for its service. I'm not a great believer in 'Snake oil' products. Does it do more harm than good ? It may be has its uses in cars that have had crap oil in for long durations or cars with sludge in the rocker cover etc.

Regards,

Ian

Always have used Forte products and never had any problems, oil flush should not be used untill engine run in fully so never before 15k usually. then at every service, same goes for gas treatment, gearbox teatments etc, never had probs, my last motor left me at 239k and is STILL going strong, never been apart and always used with forte products.

I wouldnt bother with the flush either on a turbocharged motor- apparently if you use flush it can dislodge microscopic bits of crap which can then wear the turbo bearings out prematurely(spinning at ?thousand rpm).
