Cool

My MY93 WRX runs at a max of 0.8 boost. Is this a standard outout for a 93 wrx? What is this figure in PSI?
I was considering a Dawes device but have heard this is inadvisable for an import due to the low RON rating of our fuel! Can anyone elaborate on this? Are there any other cheap methods of upping the boost? Or do I have to go for an ECU upgrade! Cheers in advance for an advice!

Thumbs up

It's around 11.5 psi 1bar = 14.5 psi or 1psi = 0.06894757 bar

I and others have a dawes with no ill effects on WRX's, the dawes will improve spool up time even if you have it at the standard boost your running now, you get problems if you start upping the boost to much without sorting out the fueling... upto 1 bar will be fine for your car, just under fuel cut... but i would sugest getting a AFR meter to keep an eye on things..

fit a fuel cut defencer as well and run on super and octane booster?

i used to run 1.1bar on std ecu, with lambda link, fcd and boost controller, no problems on 93wrx. but i suggest only abt 1 bar to be on the safe side.
