strange jolting...help!

hi can anyone help me, if i really give my 93wrx some stick it'll throw me bak and boost cuts out,quite violently,doesnt always do it though. check engine light comes on sometimes and tells me air flow sensor or know sensor,could this be the prob? a specialist said with air flow sensor u just have 2replace it and see if it was the problem

Hi yea same on mine........fuel defence cuts in due to overboost......does it happen more when the weathers cold?

if its ur MAF sensor then replace it immediately especially if u've upped the boost without touching fueling!!! it sounds like overboost... do a search for overboost to see the many solutions & causes

hi thanx 4replies, wen i took it to the specialist he said it definately not overboost,although i thought it was as i used to get it with my old Fiesta Turbo if boost was 2high, but the scoobs is standard,air filter & dump valve,thats it.
