what boost

I've now got it at 23 psi on an MY93 WRX. Lets see if she'll blow up on me tommorrow at Santa Pod.
edit~ I had to as I've lost loads of accelleration thanks to an MY98 UK gearbox.

i have a 95 wrx that i run at 1.2 bar of boost but i have a sti 6 intercooler racing dawes device fcd full de-cat and a bmc carbon cold air box.
also run a water spray system with a boost switch and a dawes afr guage to make sure its fueling ok.
if i were you i would get a dawes device and run it at 1.0 bar

Um don't attempt to whack on 23 psi on your car just yet. Take it up in increments and make sure your fuelling is okay. I'm just taking the risk as as I said, I've lost accelleration from the gearbox change.

On the clutch problem, I had a similar thing going on and cured it by adjusting the rod that connects the pedal to the master cylinder. If you look under the dash at the clutch pedal you will see that the piston has threaded adjustment. Loosen the locking nut and then turn the rod to suit.
Turning it clockwise should raise the pedal height and make the pedal return better. Antl clockwise lowers the pedal height.

PROVA Map a 94/95WRX to 16.5psi.
Compared to a Z4 standard ECU this map has no changes to the fuel map and a maximum of 3 degrees advance in some areas of the timing map.
If you don't have a Z4 ECU and have an earlier model maybe a U8 the standard fuel and timing maps are different (fuel map is totally different).
Z4 Labelled WRX ECU, PROVA and Prodrive all use near identicle and better fuel/timing maps when compared to Pre95(ish) WRX and UK Cars.

Hi WRX SCOOBY
I have a MY00 U.K running at 16.5 - 17 lbs boost(Dawes).
AFR shows in the green (RICH)(GOOD ) under all types of acceleraion throughout the gears. The MY00 ecu has a fuel cut set to around 17.5 - 18 lbs boost so I am just under that.
Make sure you have an AFR and Boost guage before raising the boost from stock especially with the JDM imports as they set their ecu's up on 100 RON. You may run into lean fuel mixtures with too much boost.
