Cool

Been running NX Stage 2 in my STI7. no problems, but only running the 35hp fogger at this stage. Only go WOT in second from +-3000 rpm and out at 6000 rpm gives a nice little boost and takes out turbo lag.

Having never had the pleasure of a 0-60 sprint in a Nitrious boosted Subaru im very intrested in having it fitted.
Having spoken to Clive and Jenny at RC Developments, they recomend the wet kit as it injects the nitro into the airflow system at engine temp rarther that direct port injection which injects it in at a colder temp, this can cause problems and in extrem caes engine detonation...no good....but all in all its a good BHP per £££ gain, jenny has the biggest Nitro bottle available bolted onto her car, and having had a peek at that, well....hahahah i NEED THIS NOW........ill keep you all posted, and thanks for the info and comments....cheers
jay

First you need to make sure they are no bigger than 100K. Resize if needed.

Then go to Turbosport uploader page

just click on the browse button, choose your pics then once you have done that and clicked ok it will come up with a screen which shows all the links you need. Just paste these into your post and the pics SHOULD appear.

Hope it works, would like to see the pics as I am considering a system for myself.

Nezz.

apparently NX stuff is ****e though. My m8 stocks and supplies several makes of NOS kit and reckons the High power ones are the way to go. NOS and NX kits can be unreliable from time to time.

Check www.streetworkz.co.uk the guys fitted loads of kits before so is a real pro. Cheap too.

As far as bhp increase goes youre looking at about 50 bhp extra safely, or more if u run a progressive controller or have strengthened internals. Also on a turbo car it acts like a charge cooler of sorts by super cooling the air into the engine which will make the car faster anyway

The switches are as follows:

Big red button is to purge the line to ensure max nos pressure
the two switches are to activate the system and the heater blanket used to keep bottle pressure constant.

The system current works on a pressure sensor under the peddle but I am keen to try on the steering as it is difficult to modulate between 95 and 100% throttle when trying to blow of a 911

Mike,

Did you fit the system yourself or get it done professionally?

How much did it cost and what was the damage on the insurance?

Nope! Did not do the installation myself. It was done by the only Scooby performance specialists in SA - NxGen. This is the only installation in a WRX/STi in this part of the world hence the conservative fogger for now ;-)We did study some of your experiences in the UK as a base for the installation as well as setup on a Dyno to ensure fuel mixture. We also ensured that it is out of sight to casual observation.

As far as insurance goes, this is Africa insurance is measured by the size of your gun! Just kidding but there will be no NOS in the car if I have an insurance claim ;-)

ive been looking into this as well. It seems fine to go ahead and get NOS but still a bit worried.

A mate put NOS in his highly tuned civic and blew the engine apart!

I think it has to be done though. Anyone else got NOS?
