and possibly a bigger oil cooler(my thoughts)
any one know how much this lot might set me back

depend how much money u want to destroy 1/uprated fuel pump-from mark at lateral perf 2/fmic-take ur pick all have pros and cons 3/hybrid turbo-mark at lateral perf 4/poss headers ported or tubular-- 5/tek 3 remap brd developments 6/this shld be good for 350bhp/300ft trq roughly any more you will need to rob a bank and go internal.also get knocklink/lamdalink egt gge oil press oil temp etc to monitor ur engine

The gains from a FMIC are additive to WI and vice versa.

A VF28 will be OK on the standard injectors with uprated fuel pump.

Rather than tubular headers, why not just buy a bigger turbo - effect is similar in my experience - ie VF29 with headers very similar in power delivery to VF23 without.

i would say port the headers anyway, there is about 1/4 inch accross the diameter to remove

Depends how far you want to go steve, obviously the tek2 i sold you as got you hooked, but its costly!

How do you figure that?

Water injection isnt going to cool your charge temperature down the same as a fmic IMHO.

I thought WI was to reduce in cylinder temperatures thus reducing the chances of det. ??

I fitted a front mount first, then the WI. The difference in timing with WI running was only about 1 to 2 degrees advance on my car (which hated advance anyway) compared to about 4 to 5 with the FMIC!

WI really only helps a little towards more power, but itnhelps a lot more towards reliability IMHO. Where as before the WI I had a relatively noisey Knock Link, after the WI it went silent as my passengers around Donington back at the SIDC national will testify ehh Alan

Still a nice MD304 hybrid from Lateral Performance will do wonders and you can run it with the standard Top Mount for now, upgrading to an FMIC when you want to go that bit further

Nowt there yet though, it's still being created! But it does have Mark's (R19KET) Aigin's contact details there and he's a very nice chap, will talk you through everything that you could ever need to uprate a scoob to silly power even if he doesn't sell/stock it
