Hi all,

After washing my MY00 Turbo saloon the other day, i noticed some small cracks in the rear spoiler, about 1/2 inch long, right on the back edge and going up from the bottom (where it meets the boot lid).

Sorry, but i dont have a digital camera, or else i would put up some pictures.

The spoiler is the standard mid-level one, as fitted to the MY00.
Has anyone else experienced this? - should it be replaced under waranty, or do i not need to worry about it.

Any thoughts?

Nick.

I have got the same problem with mine, Spoke to my local dealer (who I bought the car from I am the scond owner). He and myself both know the previous owner and this is the second spoiler on this car. Both have developed the same problem, virtually in the same place. So yes it is under warranty up to sixty thousand miles on the bodywork warranty, so my local dealer told me.

Because I have done more than sixty thousand miles now, it is not now covered under warranty and I will have to fork out myself. Bearing in mind that the replacement spoiler has done no where near sixty thousand miles. It must be a design fault!!! or a cop out by Subaru.
