Question

I have a friend who is after a Scooby WRX, poss an STi, STi Type R, or even a Type RA(Rally job)...But what I wanna know is, when (If any time) the engine's changed?!
Some WRX's I've seen are 260bhp, but same amount are 280bhp, and there doesn't seem to be a trend!!
So...anyone know??
Also, the difference in specification??
Cheers for any help!

Wink

SIDC is the best place to look but just to inform you that ALL jap imports need a minimum of super unleaded (with octane booster if possible!) and as you can probably see in the general section about sti engines blowing up this looks to be caused by the ecu being very sensitive to modifications on the car so if its modified make sure its got an uprated ecu (a non modified car running superunleaded fuel and octane booster plus also has fully synthetic oil in there with a correct grade and full speciallist service history using the correct components and lots of receipts is what your after )
