Hi all,
can anyone tell me the difference between a Dawes Device and a Bleed valve???

they are not quite the same:

A bleed valve always 'bleed' a percentage of the pressure off, usually adjustable.

Whilst a dawes won't do anything (stays closed) until a pre-adjusted pressure threshold has been met (which correlates to required boost pressure) whereby it will open.
