does anyone know if the ECU's can be remapped using the original hardware on the MY95..?

How do you reduce turbo lag and gain more power..?

Thanks

Ian

If your turbo starts like 4000 / 4300 rpm
Then NOZ before that will help 50HP,
That’s what some drivers do in KUWAIT
And its work will

Check out the following link to the Scoobyshop products, looks like exactly what you are after.

Of course, you could consider a de-cat downpipe - doesn't raise boost but offers faster Turbo spool up and more power / torque.

Cheers

How do you reduce lag and gain power? Take out catalysts, replace downpipe, up-pipe, in some cases headers can help too - definitely worth porting the OEM ones if nothing else. If you're feeling ambitious, I think converting the TD05 turbo you will have to front entry, (a la Andy F) will also help lots

But the best way to more power and less lag - if you can afford it - is to get a bigger engine. 2.2 stroker kit, 2.5 conversion or the 3.3 from the SVX will fit to give lots of power and low down pull (Am I right in thinking Pat has done that?)

Thanks to all for you replies but I think I will go with Kempos idea first...appears to be the cheapest and could re-program chip myself, decat will be too much hassel when MOT due the car only does around 3000 miles a year...

cheers Kempo...will post the results for all you pre 97 owners.
