MOT Time - but don't want/need an emissions test!
#1
Hi there,
it is MOT time. My car is registered as a 'two axle rigid bodied vehicle'.....so not registered as a Scoob!
Technically this means that there is no emissions test - a loophole I know - but a useful loophole nevertheless. Does anyone know anyone around York that will be understanding when the MOT is done?
Thanks in anticipation.

Very fishy eh?
Back on subject, I've been thinking the same thing - want to go full decat and was wondering how best to cope with MOTs. However, I haven't got to worry for another 6 months, so thought I wait a bit. I'm sure David or Steve could suggest some local 'help'.

Yes, I am back - it has been over two years! Wanted to go back to my roots - it must be old age
Matt - there is a loophole as 2axle..etc. is not listed on the emissions list. And so an emissions test is not necessary!
Other import owners have successfully prosecuted this! However not all imports are registered the same way. So you need to check.
