OK, a complete newbie to the scooby. Things so far...bought GrpN scoob having ditched the Delta.

Before I go headlong into a rally with I would like to get a bit more knowledge of the technical bits before I have to face them when I have an off. The car is a 98, although still has 94/5 bumpers etc.. I beleive it is the high torque (red top) engine with cosworth forged pistons and all the other bumf, but I thought the aluminium top would be a slight pinky colour but it is not..the engine type is EJ20, what spec/model is this from??

How can I tell what turbo it is?? Also has anybody got any technical drawings/workshop diagrams that could help me out to indentify the bits I am gonna have to replace at one time or another??
