Millers
#1
Hi,
I've got quite a few bottles of Millers left - I bought these to try in my MY01 when I just had the PPP, didn't make any difference so stuck them on a shelf in the garage...
Anyway, I now have a full decat on top of my PPP and am thinking of using up the rest of the Millers before it goes out of date. Any downside to this that I'm missing? I don't really expect any gains, I just remember seeing something about it being better for the engine...
Thanks,
Gareth

Danny,
Don't think it's a problem. I have the scoobysport uppipe and downpipe. Was paranoid enough myself at the time, researched it to death, interrogated Pete C to the point of irritation then went for it. Drives brilliantly, and I just keep half an eye on the boost gauge...

It definately reduces chance of DET, so it can advance the ignition timing more and get more performance in theory....whether it'll completely eliminate chances of meltdown I don't know...but it makes sense that chances would be reduced due to decreased det and lower burn temps. Dunno, maybe only needed for track use ? Not sure.........
