hello chaps, in need of some techical advice, cars has developed what i think to be a slight missfire, only when accelerating harder than normal driving. only just started few days ago, dont reckon the plugs have been changed in about 12.000 miles, i'm thinking plugs but i know of a mate with similar problem and it turned out to be the coil packs, very costly. the car still hits its target boost of 16psi but the car jerks violently when running this revy. would appreciate any info on this one guys.

 

Common guys, post your thoughts on my problem.

Check or change plugs (gap to 0.7)

if this fails... coilpack time me thinks

Mine had this problem and changed plugs but turned out two of the coilpacks were knackered.

 

had that exact problem and had to replace all the coil packs !
