It may make a difference if your p1 has been run on normal unleaded recently (95 ron) as the ECU will compensate for the lower grade fuel. After reset make sure you run it on 97 ron or higher I think Shell Optimax is 98ron.
You may be able to find a main dealer that will reset it for you.
hope this is of some help

There could be more than one reason that your car is running below the specified bhp, fuel is definately one of them (as a P1 should only be run on 97+ ron fuel minimum anyway) but you could have some other problem if its not the fuel (or the car could be perfectly fine and the rollers could be out )

Try Below......
How to re-set your ECU unit.
NOTE: This is only applicable to MY93-00 (GCA) models. The later model MY01
(GDA) onwards require the use of a product such as the DeltaDash or similar
to reset the ECU.
ECU clear memory procedure is as follows for auto and manual transmissions:
With engine at operating temperature, turn engine off. Place gear shift lever into park (auto transmission cars only)
Locate the two ECU check connectors, for most cars they are located under the steering column and consist of a black plastic male and female connector, and a green male female connector. The exact location of the connectors varies with the different year models, but generally they are located under the steering column on the drivers side.
NOTE: sometimes they are still taped over with some small amount of plastic tape, so look hard, they will be there!
With the ignition OFF connect black to black and green to green.
Turn on ignition, do not start the engine, (and for auto transmission, cycle the gearshift lever from park to neutral and back to park ), depress the accelerator pedal to full throttle and hold for a few seconds, and then release.
Start engine and then drive for at least one minute, keeping road speed above 11 Km/h.
ECU is now re-set.
At this point the check engine light should start to flash the all clear signal (steady 1/2 second interval flashes). If the check engine light does not flash, or indicates some other sequence, there is a fault present in the system, and should be professionally checked for necessary repairs.
Once, stop the car and turn off the engine.
Disconnect the plugs.
Job complete

Ive reset my ECU using the method KOZIKOT has posted many times ...its quick and easy but you do have to look hard for the black and green connectors but they are under the steering column some where ...honest.

Understand ressetting of the ECU is a waste of time...the ECU should work out what petrol it is burning within a very short time...
Rolling roads dyno's will not give 100% accurate readings as other variables such as tyre pressure, ambient temps, etc, etc also come into play.
Suggest you find a long runway and check you car achieves top speed - this is as good a way as any to validate car is to specification.
