i have an my01/02 and i have seen that PiperX's new Viper kit for it produces ~20bhp more, but Blitz do a similar one called the Super Sonic, and i was wondering would this offer anymore power? what are the main differeces? and which one would i be better off buying? thanks

The Blitz may look good, but dont filter very well, and some may say they can lead to premature AFM failure.

20 BHP from an induction kit - unless it leans it out total bollox, and if it leans it that much then you will lose a shed load of torque during spool up if indeed there is no detonation.

Doesn't mean it gives you 20 BHP from airflow gains. It is either rolling road variation or it is leaning it out and advancing the ignition timing by making the MAF sensor under-read. The latter variety are unsafe.

Subaru's resonator and airbox are not the best in the world, but they don't cause so much restriction as to drop 10% power. Max Power bollox I am afraid.
