Bailey EVO VTA DV - is it easy to fit?
#1
Just got hold of one, and the good lad sent me instruction - but Consignia damaged the envelope with H2O - and I cant read them.
Anyone got a simple 'how to' for it?
Cheers,
Mark

What year is it for? If it's a non-intercooler mounted one (early cars) then it's easy. Take out the standard recirculating one & fit it to the pipe coming from the intercooler to the turbo. You will need a fitting kit or you could make one. Then just run the hose at the other end to where the old one goes on the top of the engine. You'll then need a blanking plug for the hole where the other end of the re-circ came out. Job done
If its a later car where it's mounted on the intercooler then i've no idea & i've just wasted my time typing all this

I fitted it today - just took a bit of logic. Seems to be idling fine, and can hear the sound just above the exhaust.
The Baileys has a really weird fitment position though - angled into the turbo housing, so the thin tube has to be looped round the housing and back into the original thin tube (does that make any sense LOL!!??).
Cheers for the link anyway,
MS
