Question

Are these rubbers really needed on an 01 impreza?

The reason i ask is cos the one on the baulkhead near the windscreen is nearly falling off anyway and while i'm at it i might as well take off the 2 on the front to get some much needed cooling in

isn't removing the front rubbers gonna men in the wet water pouring over the top of the lights and onto the electrics behind? I know they are well insulated but I would have thought this is the reason for the rubbers being there, even Morettes come with replacement rubbers.

I still have the rubbers overs the lights, its just the centre that wont have any. Apart from giving the bonnet a little extra cushioning and stopping small amounts of water i can't see any other purpose

Thanks

Scott,

you might be right, water onto the radiator and aircon matrix can't hurt, surely?
