I got the car serviced yesterday and the bloke came out to me with 4 spark plugs - 3 shiney ones with flat washers and 1 black one with a curved washer. The bloke explained that this plug was never done up fully as the washer would of been flat if it had, and the engine had been blowing out of the gap round the plug.

My question is this.........

is there anything I can do about the apparent lack of skill/intelegence/whatever you want to call it from the garage I took it to 7 thousand miles ago? Should I lodge a complaint even if nothing comes from it? Anyway, I will not be going back there!

BTW it was an official Subaru dealer. But I have found a better garage now so I will stick with them as I trust them not to f*** it up! and I am not naming names so dont ask.

Cheers

Difficult to prove and no damage so pointless trying legal action not that you mentioned it.. worth going in and speaking to the service manager though as they need to be a bit more careful etc..

Yeah - realise that legal action is pointless.
Just want them to note my disatisfaction (sp?)
Should be named and shamed in my opinion but I realise this is a bad idea. I will call them tommorrow and see what they say I suppose - I'm angry that I paid them a small fortune for a shoddy job.

Agree with you but everyone makes mistakes... just rather they were a minor ones..

You have a set of seats and a bike frame for sale I believe...
The cheaper set of seats......

Much of a discount if I take both????
