My mates RB5 WR Sport is hunting at idle, and he needs a new air flow meter sensor jobby.

Any clever trousers out there know the part number please?

Does he know it's defo faulty? My RB5 was hunting on idle and it was the O2 sensor. MAF's the usual suspect, but I'd ask his Dealer to quickly check it on a Select Monitor for him. It should take minutes and they shouldn't charge him for using it.

I believe he has had it checked and been told its the MAF sensor.. However, the same Scooby dealership told him it was a "gearbox selector fork coming loose" that was casuing hortrible gearbox noises in 3rd 4th and 5th, when it was actually gearbox bearings (which we already knew).. so what do THEY know?

Yeah, that's Dealers for you. Mine told me they put the Select Monitor on mine and it should **** all. The previous night DelatDash should it flat lining at 0.03volts

I've had it checked by Rally Colin so I know it's the sensor
