Knock & throttle position sensor
#1
The 'check engine' light came on last night and i have followed instruction on previous posts to check the error codes and it came up with the knock and throttle position sensor.
Have booked it in to be looked at on Monday, but will it be safe to drive it over the weekend ? or could i cause more problems ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Throttle position sensor is usually a 10 minute DIY fix with a volt meter - sometimes they just get misaligned...
I have some instructions for pre97 TPS alignment somewhere if you don't mind getting your hands dirty...
The knock sensor is another matter though!
I'd say only drive it if there's no alternative, and expect it to drink fuel like a bigger fish than normal. Keep it off boost. I suspect that you'll only be allowed 7 PSI anyway...
