Error Code Checking

Hi Dirtboy
fistly you need to connect the 2 black small plugs under the dash above the pedals and then connect the 2 green plugs all with the ignition off then turn the igintion on all dash lights on depress the throtle pedal fully and the up to half pedal and hold for 30 secs the check light should flash long flash = 10 and short flash = 1 if you have a error post no on here and ill tell you what the fault is .once you have done this after half pedal lift off the gas and start the engine allow to idel 3 mins or so then turn off the ignition and disconect the plugs and start the car like normal .... chris ps this will also do a full ecu reset
pps make sure your imobiliser is not activated

If you just want to check for error codes you only need to connect the two black connectors, then switch on ignition but DONT start the engine.
The CEL light will flash at you in a morse code style.

If they have never been connected before, they are probably taped up and may prove difficult to find. If you are bendy enough, get on your back with the top of your head near the brake peddle, and look straight up into the thousands of wires. You may have to root around for a while, but they will be there somewhere. You will know when you have found them.
