Agree with the above, only thing is the the superchip will be wired before the ecu so to interupt and modify signals before they enter the ecu. Therefore wires would have been cut to accomodate the superchip. So you need to rejoin and insulate the wires from the loom to their original wires to the ecu. These wires should be colour coded.

You will need to remove the bleed v/v

FORGIVE ME FOR BEING KNOWLEDGELESS ABOUT MY 94 WRX BUT HOW CAN I TELL FOR DEFO IF THE ECU STILL HAS THE SUPACHIP IN I WAS TOLD IT HAD , IS IT EASY TO SEE AND WERE EXACTLY IS THE ECU SITUATED THANX

The ECU can be found in the passenger footwell. Peel back the carpet from round the centre console and round to the left. Should reveal a metal plate, remove this and thats where the ecu is. A superchip will be a black box connected by 2 or 3 wires and will say superchip on it.

Take it off and throw it away!

The guy in the next unit to us does superchips, after you have cut them out send them to me and I'll pass them on .....

IF I WERE TO TAKE IT OUT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITH THE BLEED VALVE ETC NOT SURE HOW IT ALL WORKS ,SO I GATHER YOUD ADVISE ME ON TAKING IT OUT ? DONT YOU THINK IT WOULD BE A SPECIALIST JOB TO SET IT ALL BACK UP ETC MAINLY JUST WANTED TO CHECK IF ONE THERE THEN IF SO MAYBE SEE A SPECIALIST WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO

Bleed valve...just remove it and reconnect the hose where it previously was T'd off.

I GATHER YOU PUT THE HOSE FROM THAT LITTLE BOX THING THE BLEED VALVE FEEDS TO THE PLACE WERE THE BLEED VALVE IS FED FROM ?

Question

Is the pipework to the bleed valve coming from the boost control solenoid valve, then to the actuator or is it coming directly from the manifold?
