Just had a turbo timer fitted to me car today, but sometimes when the timer has finished counting down and turns the engine off the alarm sounds???? Havent got a clue what this could be, has happened only a couple of times so far out of around 15 attempts. Only thing I could think of was that it might be the Mask face on the stereo being picked up on the motion sensors inside the car?? Anyone else had this sort of trouble??

After a bit of trial and error I have discovered the following.....

If I alarm the car while the timer still has 50+secs to countdown the alarm sounds after approx 50 secs (could be before or dead on shut down)
If I alarm the car with the timer below 50 secs to go its fine. Is it possible that the alarm has a feature where if the car is locked but still running the alarm goes off after a pre set time?? (in my case around 50 seconds)

At least I've managed to determine the problem, so at worst I have to see the timer down to below 50 seconds and then alarm the car knowing that the alarm wont go off if I walk away.
