My car is a MY98 with PPP and for a long time i ran it with a decat center (my98 PPP still had their center cats) and a Scooby sport back box along with a Dawes.
I didnt have any problems with this set up but never felt at ease having the Dawes on.
Not to long ago I decated the down pipe and removed the Dawes but some times with WOT in 5th I hit the fuel cut.
Is this because Im running a full decat system on a PPP car ? , I presume the PPP raises the boost preasure a bit and with the decat also doing its bit an i just pushing it to far ?
Sooo the next question what can i do about it ?
Ive thought about putting the Dawes back on to help control the boost but I realy dont like the thought of the Dawes fooling the ECU into thinking every thing is OK when there could be a problem.

Fitting the decat DP does enable the turbo to spool up quicker thus causing overshooting of the desired boost(Std boost solenoid not quick enough to respond)Had a similar problem with my own car but went for an electronic boost controller. With the dawes on you still have the MAP sensor as backup. ie If the boost gets too high you will still have the same effect as you have with the dawes off but you will be able to adjust the boost to a desired value to eliminate overboost
